ISLAMABAD: Officials from the British High Commission visited Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where they were granted consular access to British citizens currently in custody.
During the visit, the diplomatic team met with detainees Tahir Naeem Ayaz, Sunaina, and Waqar Ahmed.
Consular access was provided following international diplomatic protocols, enabling British officials to assess the inmates’ well-being and review their legal status.
The visit reflects ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom in ensuring the rights and welfare of foreign nationals in detention.
