Prime Minister’s adviser Rana Sanaullah has stated that there is no doubt India’s intelligence agency, RAW, is involved in terrorism within Pakistan. He accused RAW of funding and arming militants, describing the agency as the “mother of terrorists.”
Sanaullah further alleged that Afghanistan is being used as a proxy, where terrorists are trained before launching attacks in Pakistan.
Speaking to the media in Faisalabad, Rana Sanaullah strongly condemned recent terrorist attacks, asserting that those responsible are criminals who should not be shown any leniency. He pointed out that following each attack, Indian media quickly engages in a propaganda campaign, suggesting prior knowledge of the incidents.
Afghan Government’s Role
The former interior minister expressed his disappointment with the Afghan government’s inability to curb terrorist activities, despite Pakistan’s longstanding support for Afghan refugees. He claimed that terrorist groups are trained in Afghanistan before executing deadly attacks on Pakistani soil.
Sanaullah praised the Pakistan Army for its swift response, particularly highlighting the successful operation following the Jaffar Express attack, which resulted in the safe rescue of passengers.
He emphasized that intelligence-based operations would continue until all terrorists are neutralized, clarifying that a large-scale military operation is not necessary at this time.
Sanaullah also accused the social media wing of a particular political party of echoing Indian propaganda, claiming their narratives align with those of Indian media outlets.
