Two intelligence officials of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) were martyred in a gun attack on Tanda Dam Road in Kohat.
According to reports, the CTD officials Mustafa and Zahid were en route to Kohat city for duty when unidentified terrorists ambushed them, opening indiscriminate fire. Both cops, traveling on a motorcycle, were killed on the spot.
The assailants fled the scene, prompting a heavy police deployment to initiate a search operation.
The bodies of the martyred officers have been shifted to DHQ Hospital, Kohat.
