Tech billionaire Elon Musk has welcomed his fourth child with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, bringing his total number of children to 14.
Zilis announced the birth of their son, Seldon Lycurgus, on social media on February 28, writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son, Seldon Lycurgus.”
She described the newborn as “built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold.” Musk responded to the post with a heart emoji.
Musk and Zilis previously welcomed twins Strider and Azure in 2021, followed by daughter Arcadia in 2023.
The latest addition to Musk’s growing family follows reports that conservative commentator Ashley St. Clair gave birth to Musk’s 13th child five months ago. St. Clair, a known supporter of right-wing causes, has reportedly filed a paternity suit against the billionaire.
Musk, 52, has often voiced concerns about declining birth rates, calling population collapse one of the greatest threats to civilization. He previously rejected claims that he was keeping his expanding family a secret, saying, “All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean ‘secret.’”
Musk also shares five children with his first wife, Canadian author Justine Musk, and three with musician Grimes.
