Rs 25,000 Prize Bond Winners for December 10 Draw Announced

Prize Bond Winners

In a major announcement, the government has revealed the winners of the Rs25,000 denomination national prize bond draw, which was held on December 10, 2024, in Quetta, Balochistan.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the results have been eagerly awaited by thousands of people who participate in this popular lottery scheme. The prize bond system continues to attract many individuals hoping to test their luck.

This announcement follows the recent release of the winners of the Rs1,500 denomination prize bond draw, which was held in Rawalpindi last month.

The December 10, 2024, draw for the Rs25,000 denomination marked the fourth such event this year, according to data from the central bank. This reflects the growing interest in national prize bonds, as many Pakistanis invest in them in hopes of securing a life-changing prize.

In this particular draw, the first prize of Rs30,000,000 was awarded to two lucky winners holding the bond numbers 385325 and 498317.

These individuals have become instant millionaires with this massive cash prize. Meanwhile, five individuals with bond numbers 053461, 056921, 187297, 249312, and 934808 each won the second prize of Rs10,000,000. These second-prize winners are also celebrating significant financial windfalls.

Additionally, a total of 700 prizes were awarded Rs300,000 each, making the event even more exciting for many. The prize bond draw has become a much-anticipated event, with many people across the country hoping for a share of the rewards.

Earlier this year, the federal government introduced new taxation policies regarding prize bond winnings. A fixed tax of up to 20% was imposed on winnings from prize bonds and lotteries.

The tax rate for prize bond or crossword puzzle winnings is set at 15%, while winnings from raffles, lotteries, and sales promotion quizzes are taxed at 20%.

These changes have made prize bond winnings more subject to taxation, which has sparked discussions on the implications for future prize bond purchases and investments.

Despite the tax adjustments, prize bonds continue to be a popular form of investment, and many people continue to take part in the draws, hoping for a lucky break. The government’s regular draws and the resulting prizes have become an important event for both the public and the treasury.
