Interior Ministry Implements Strict Security Measures in Federal Capital Amid Threat Alert

The Ministry of Interior has decided to enforce stringent security measures to protect government buildings and key installations in the federal capital, in response to potential security threats, according to official sources.

A heavy deployment of security personnel has been ordered for Islamabad and Rawalpindi, with a particular focus on sensitive locations. Additionally, the ministry has initiated geofencing around Afghan refugee camps in Islamabad and other cities to monitor activities and enhance surveillance.

Sources revealed that authorities are considering severe actions against individuals involved in disruptive protests, including the cancellation of academic credentials and admissions, as well as the blocking of passports, identity cards, and SIM cards.

Furthermore, there has been an increase in monitoring suspicious areas to prevent potential terrorist activities and ensure public safety and stability.

These measures reflect the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the face of evolving security challenges.
