Severe fog has caused widespread disruption to flight operations across Pakistan, resulting in cancellations, diversions, and significant delays. According to airport authorities, 11 flights were cancelled, 3 were rerouted to alternate airports, and 53 domestic and international flights faced major delays.
Flight Cancellations:
- Karachi to Faisalabad: PK340 and PK341
- Lahore to Quetta: PK322 and PK323 (PIA flights)
Flight Diversions:
- Saudi Airlines flight SV738 from Jeddah to Lahore was redirected to Islamabad.
Flight Delays:
- Six flights between Karachi and Islamabad
- Five flights from Karachi to Lahore
- 19 flights at Lahore Airport
Passengers are urged to check flight schedules for updates before heading to the airport to avoid any inconvenience. Airlines and airport authorities are working to manage the situation while ensuring passenger safety.
