The delegation praised the efforts made to preserve and maintain Sikh-era heritage sites during their visit. A fifty-member group from the Sikh community explored the historic Jamrud Fort, Fort Balahisar, and Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh in Khyber District and Peshawar.
As they toured the monuments dating back to the Sikh rule, the delegation admired the artifacts and exhibits showcased in the museum at Fort Balahisar.
During the visit, the Frontier Corps North Band played Punjabi tunes, prompting the Sikh guests to joyfully perform traditional dances in celebration of their cultural heritage. They also conducted religious rituals at Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh, underscoring the significance of their visit.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North for their efforts in preserving these important historical sites and conveyed their appreciation for the warm welcome and care extended to them.
