Bilawal Pledges to Reform Justice System with Constitutional Amendment

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari pledged on Monday to enhance the justice system through constitutional amendments.

While addressing a gathering in Karachi, the former foreign minister stated, “I urge the public to unite with me in demanding constitutional reforms. I also want to ask: Are you satisfied with the current justice system?”

He reflected on the era of former Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, noting, “The public experienced justice through the reforms he introduced.”

“I will advocate for judicial reforms alongside the people,” he asserted.

Discussing former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Bhutto-Zardari emphasized, “We will save the country by fulfilling her promises, starting with an agricultural revolution led by Sindh’s farmers.”

He criticized suggestions to deregulate the agricultural sector, asserting, “This sector is vital for strengthening our economy but faces significant environmental challenges.”

Bhutto-Zardari also underscored the contemporary issues confronting the nation and recalled the agricultural advancements seen during the tenure of Asif Ali Zardari.
