On Monday, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Swat filed a First Information Report (FIR) regarding a blast that occurred on Malam Jabba Road, which has been registered at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Police Station in Swat.
The FIR includes serious charges such as terrorism, murder, and premeditated murder. The tragic incident, which took place on Sunday, resulted in the martyrdom of a police officer.
In response to the attack, both President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed their condemnation of the terrorist act targeting a police mobile near Malam Jabba. President Zardari honored the martyred officer and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the complete eradication of terrorism in the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also offered prayers for the elevation of ranks for the fallen policeman and conveyed his sympathies to the officer’s family. He directed relevant authorities to ensure that all possible medical assistance is provided to those injured in the blast.
