Aleem Khan Orders NHA to Implement Online System

“NHA Must Develop Dashboards and Regularly Update Data,” Says Aleem Khan

Aleem Khan emphasized that the National Highway Authority (NHA) should create dashboards and ensure data is updated on a regular basis.

Privatization Minister Abdul Aleem Khan urged the National Highway Authority (NHA) on Friday to implement an online system and establish tracking mechanisms across major highways.

During a meeting with NHA officials, Khan emphasized the importance of adopting high-tech solutions similar to those used in developed countries. He instructed the NHA to ensure rigorous monitoring of vehicles on motorways and GT roads.

“The NHA should create dashboards and upload data daily. To achieve this, a state-of-the-art monitoring room should be established, modeled after the Safe City project,” Khan stated. He also proposed that vehicles without a balance on their m-tags receive notifications of fines. “The NHA must boost its revenue while maintaining motorway discipline,” he added, insisting on uniform rules and regulations for motorists seeking directions on the highways.
