Sindh Government Announces Financial Aid for Victims of Iran Bus Tragedy

Following the tragic bus accident in Iran that claimed the lives of 28 Pakistani nationals, the Sindh government has intensified its efforts to assist the bereaved families. Provincial Minister Nasir Shah announced that each family of the deceased will receive Rs5 million in compensation, while those who were injured will be given Rs1 million each.

The accident has caused substantial loss, prompting the return of the victims’ bodies to Pakistan. A special aircraft transported the remains of the 28 individuals to Jacobabad. From there, 10 bodies were sent to Larkana for further arrangements.

In Kandh Kot, funeral prayers were conducted for six of the deceased pilgrims, with their families honoring them by placing floral wreaths on their coffins. Additionally, the bodies of four victims have arrived in Khairpur, where a collective funeral prayer is scheduled for 9 AM at the Nazpilot School.

The critically injured passengers are being evacuated to Karachi for advanced medical care. Authorities are actively working to offer relief and support to the affected communities as they cope with this devastating event.
