PTI Chief Whip Malik Amir Dogar attributes Mumtaz Mustafa’s death to mental stress. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Mumtaz Mustafa has passed away from a heart attack.
Mumtaz Mustafa, who was residing in Parliament Lodges, suffered a heart attack there. He hailed from Rahim Yar Khan and had been elected as an MNA from the NA-171 constituency.
A spokesman for the National Assembly has confirmed Mumtaz Mustafa’s death, stating that the assembly session will be adjourned today in light of this tragedy.
Doctors confirmed that the MNA had a heart attack at Parliament Lodges and was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. His body is being returned to his family.
National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq expressed profound sorrow and grief over the passing of MNA Mumtaz Mustafa, honoring his political and social contributions. Sadiq remarked that he was deeply saddened by the sudden loss and that Mustafa’s services would be remembered.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also acknowledged the death of their MNA on its official X account.
