Hunter Biden’s Ex-Girlfriend Testifies on Crack Cocaine Use in Gun Trial

At the ongoing criminal trial aiming to establish whether US President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, lied about his addiction to procure a gun illegally, his former girlfriend, Zoe Kestan, testified about his persistent crack cocaine usage at luxury hotels.

She detailed instances where Hunter would prepare crack at upscale locations like the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles or spend extended periods in hotel rooms indulging in drug use in the months leading up to his 2018 gun purchase.

During her testimony, Kestan portrayed a grim picture of Hunter Biden’s drug habits, describing how he would desire to smoke crack immediately upon waking up each day. She also recounted encounters with a troubling drug dealer and efforts to find online instructions for converting powder cocaine into crack.

The trial marks the first instance of a US president’s child facing legal proceedings, with prosecutors aiming to demonstrate that Hunter Biden knowingly misrepresented his drug use on screening paperwork during the acquisition of a revolver in October 2018.

Additionally, Kathleen Buhle, Hunter Biden’s former wife who divorced him in 2017, provided testimony for about 20 minutes, shedding light on her initial discovery of his drug usage.

Prosecutors plan to call Hallie Biden, the widow of Hunter’s late brother Beau, as another witness in the trial.

Hunter Biden, 54, has pleaded not guilty to three felony charges related to failing to disclose his illegal drug use during the gun purchase and unlawfully possessing the weapon for 11 days.

While Hunter Biden has acknowledged his past drug use publicly, claiming to have been sober since 2019, his defense contends that he was not using drugs at the time of the gun purchase and had no intention to deceive.

The trial unfolds against the backdrop of last week’s historic criminal conviction of former President Donald Trump, making it a significant period in American legal and political history.
