Arif Alvi responds to Malik Riaz’s statement

ISLAMABAD: Former President and PTI leader, Dr. Arif Alvi, responded to property tycoon Malik Riaz’s assertion of enduring “immense pressure” for the past year to compromise, as reported.

In his statement, Dr. Alvi warned that the pressure cooker of injustice is bound to explode sooner or later. He expressed concern that it’s the loyal citizens of Pakistan, committed to their homeland, who will bear the brunt of the fallout, contrasting them with those who have secured escape routes to foreign countries.

He continued, affirming, “We will rebuild and foster prosperity in our nation with dignity, even amidst the wreckage caused by the ongoing corruption and exploitation under this fraudulent, oppressive, and unlawfully established regime.”

Dr. Arif Alvi expressed his belief that such a transformation is achievable through the grace of Allah and the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“Under immense pressure to compromise,” declared the property tycoon in a statement, alleging a year-long ordeal of coercion to compromise. He adamantly stated, “I will never allow myself to be used as a pawn for political agendas.”

The tycoon emphasized that the pressure he faces is part of a recurring pattern of victimization, attributing it to his efforts in introducing state-of-the-art projects in Pakistan and contributing to the nation’s progress.

“Despite my deteriorating health and distress, I remain resolute in confronting this challenge. Each day, I endure financial losses in my business and feel cornered, but I refuse to yield to any form of pressure tactics,” vowed Malik Riaz.
