Security footage showed the elderly resident climbing a 2.15-meter-high metal gate before disappearing from the facility. However, the woman suffers from severe Alzheimer’s disease, raising immediate concerns among caregivers.

The video captured the 1.6-meter-tall woman carefully climbing the tall metal gate. She grabbed the bars, found secure footing, and pulled herself upward with ease. Next, she swung one leg over the gate before landing safely outside.
According to the nursing home’s director, the woman spent decades working in mountain orchards. Therefore, she remained physically active despite her age. Staff members also revealed she still enjoys exercising and climbing whenever possible.
