Officers Shifted to National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency
Forty officers and constables of Islamabad Police have been transferred to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
According to reports, the transfer orders were issued through a notification by AIG Establishment on Saturday.
The move is part of administrative changes aimed at strengthening the cybercrime investigation setup in the country.
The transferred personnel will now serve under the NCCIA, which handles investigations related to digital crimes and online offences.
Rawalpindi Police Faces Temporary Leave Restrictions
Meanwhile, Rawalpindi Police has imposed a temporary ban on leaves for officers and police personnel.
The order was issued by Capital Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera.
Under the directive, police officers and officials will not be allowed to take any type of leave until October 1.
The department has not disclosed specific reasons behind the leave restriction.
Officials said such administrative measures are often taken to ensure maximum availability of personnel during important security operations and assignments.
