LAHORE: In a recent development, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) officially declared 30 individuals, including PTI’s Tahira Yasmeen, as fugitives in the Jinnah House attack case.
The police filed a plea before the ATC, citing that despite numerous calls, all the accused failed to appear in court regarding the Jinnah House attack case. The Investigation Officer (IO) appealed to designate the 30 accused, including individuals like Tahira Yasmeen, Asma Mumtaz, Rizwana Ghazanfar, Hayat Sikandar, and others, as fugitives.
The IO asserted that the accused had gone into hiding, expressing fears of potential arrest in connection to the case. This development underscores the seriousness of the allegations, prompting the authorities to take stringent measures against those accused in the Jinnah House attack.

In a related incident, PTI activist Sanam Javed faced further legal issues as she was arrested by the police in another case shortly after being granted bail by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
Sanam Javed secured bail in a case related to setting the PML-N office on fire, with the ATC accepting surety bonds of Rs200,000. The ongoing legal proceedings highlight the complex and interconnected nature of these cases, shedding light on the challenges faced by the authorities in maintaining law and order amidst political tensions.
