Kia’s iconic three-row Telluride SUV is returning with a refreshed 2027 model, set to debut at the L.A. Auto Show. The new iteration promises a combination of modern technology, sharper styling, and increased space, keeping fans excited for its arrival at dealerships for the 2027 model year.
The 2027 Telluride maintains the upright, boxy charm that made the original popular, while growing slightly in size. The new model is 2.3 inches longer overall, with a wheelbase stretched by 2.7 inches, bringing it in line with the 2026 Hyundai Palisade, a vehicle it is frequently compared to. These dimensional updates provide additional interior space while retaining the SUV’s commanding presence.
Styling updates include a full-width front grille flanked by signature vertical amber Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) at the far ends. The rear takes cues from classic Range Rover designs, featuring tall, narrow taillights and a wide-set “Telluride” script across the tailgate, giving the SUV an elegant yet rugged appearance.
The boxy persona is emphasized by small square accents on the wheel wells, tow hooks, and knobby 18-inch Continental CrossContact tires in the X-Pro variant, highlighting off-road capability alongside urban style.
Inside, the 2027 Telluride offers a luxurious two-tone cabin with twin 12.3-inch screens side by side—one for the instrument cluster and one for infotainment. The X-Pro variant features a sleek all-black interior, complemented by Forged Carbon accents, a composite material made from chopped carbon fiber, adding a premium, modern touch.
While Kia has not yet revealed engine options or full performance specifications, anticipation is high among fans and industry watchers.
