Four Women Among Dead, While Seven Others Injured in Separate Tragedies Across the Province
In different unfortunate accidents and firing atleast 13 people were killed including a father and son and four women. These tragic incidents reported at different areas of Baluchistan.
The incidents occurred in Panjgur, Kohlu, Surab, Loralai, Awaran and Bakhtiarabad, according to police officials.
Authorities said rescue teams and local administrations responded to the incidents and shifted the bodies and injured victims to nearby hospitals.
Five Killed, Two Children Injured in Panjgur Road Accident
The deadliest incident occurred in the Goran area, around 60 kilometres from Panjgur city, where a road accident claimed the lives of five people, including four women.
Two children were also injured in the crash and were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
Police said the victims belonged to Kahda Abdul Hakim Bazaar in Prom tehsil of Panjgur.
Following the accident, police, rescue officials and district administration teams reached the site and carried out relief operations.
The bodies were moved to the hospital, where medico-legal procedures were completed before they were handed over to the families.
Separate Firing Incidents Claim Lives in Kohlu, Surab and Awaran
In Kohlu district’s Garsani area, an unidentified armed attacker opened fire on a local resident, killing him on the spot before fleeing from the scene.
Another firing incident was reported in the Gadar area of Surab, where unidentified armed men killed Aziz Muhammad and escaped.
In Awaran’s Jhao area, gunmen targeted a father and his son, killing both of them.
Police shifted their bodies to a hospital and later handed them over to their relatives after completing the required legal procedures.
Investigations into the firing incidents have been launched, while police teams are working to identify and arrest the suspects.
Motorcycle Accidents Kill Three People in Loralai and Bakhtiarabad
Two motorcyclists, identified as Amanullah and Yousuf, were killed in Loralai’s Mekhtar area near Jalebi Mor after a speeding vehicle struck their motorcycle.
Police said a truck overturned while the driver attempted to avoid hitting the motorcyclists. The truck driver sustained injuries and was shifted for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, another road accident occurred on the national highway in Bakhtiarabad, where a speeding truck hit a motorcycle.
Police said motorcyclist Ahmadullah was killed in the accident, while Mohammad Akhlaq and Noorul Haq were injured.
The injured victims were taken to hospital, while police started investigations into the cause of the crash.
Police Launch Investigations Into Multiple Incidents
Authorities said investigations into all incidents are underway, with police collecting evidence and attempting to determine the circumstances behind the accidents and attacks.
The repeated incidents have raised concerns over road safety and law-and-order challenges in different districts of Balochistan.
