Child’s Body Found With Marks Around Neck
A 10-year-old girl was found dead inside the washroom of a private tuition centre in Lahore’s Ichhra area.
The child, identified as Naima, had left home for her regular tuition classes. She did not return home, prompting concern from her family.
Police said her body was later recovered from the tuition center washroom.
According to initial findings, visible marks were found around her neck. Investigators suspect that the child may have been murdered.
Her body has been shifted to the mortuary for a postmortem examination.
The postmortem report will help determine the exact cause of death.

Police said legal proceedings have started and all possible angles are being investigated.

Meanwhile, a separate child murder case in Karachi has also taken a new turn.
Police are investigating claims that the suspect in the Wali Abid case may have been involved in suspicious online activity.
According to reports, investigators are conducting a forensic examination of the suspect’s mobile phones.
Officials reportedly recovered violent content from the devices. However, police have not yet confirmed any link to dark web activity.
The incident took place in Lea Market, where six-year-old Wali Abid was assaulted and killed. His body was later thrown from a residential building.
Investigators are continuing to collect evidence from the crime scene.
Local residents claimed the suspect had no known job but often spent money on children in the neighbourhood.
They also alleged that he owned expensive mobile phones despite being unemployed.
Police are now expected to examine the suspect’s financial activity, digital devices and online contacts.
