Helicopter-lifted display attempts world record with jaw-dropping gaming stunt
Xbox Takes Gaming to the Skies in Spectacular Promotion
In a bold marketing move, Xbox took over the skies of Miami, Florida, by displaying gameplay of Ninja Gaiden 4 on a giant airborne screen suspended by a helicopter. The unique stunt was part of an effort to break a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest video game display in the air.
The massive television screen measured 215 square feet and 40 square inches, and was hoisted into the sky by a helicopter as Team Ninja’s community manager, Emmanuel “Master” Rodriguez, and recording artist Soaay Lee followed closely behind in another helicopter. Both took turns playing the highly anticipated Ninja Gaiden 4 mid-air.
World’s Largest Flying Gaming Screen Powered by Heli Ad
The aerial setup was created by Heli Ad, a media company specializing in airborne advertising. The display not only promoted Ninja Gaiden 4’s release, but also showcased Xbox’s innovation in immersive gaming experiences.
To ensure smooth, real-time gameplay, Xbox incorporated advanced sports broadcasting technology, making the sky-based demo as fluid as playing on the ground.
This airborne spectacle is part of a broader promotional campaign, positioning Ninja Gaiden 4 as one of the most exciting releases in the Xbox lineup.
