ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Workers Alliance has announced a nationwide protest against the dismissal of daily wage employees of the Utility Stores Corporation.
According to details, demonstrations will take place tomorrow across the country. Central Secretary General Arif Shah stated that employees in the Islamabad zones will protest in front of the head office, while workers in other regions will gather outside press clubs.
Shah warned that if the decision to terminate daily wage employees is not reversed, the Alliance will escalate its actions.
Workers have also hinted at shutting down Utility Stores nationwide and staging sit-ins if their demands are not met.
