ISLAMABAD: For the first time, Pakistan’s women football team is participating in the 4-nation tournament in Saudi Arabia.
PFF _ Pakistan Football Federation announced this on Friday to share with media the schedule of upcoming tournament in Saudi Arabia.
In this 4-nation tournament, Pakistani team’s ranking stands taller, at 160th in the FIFA Ranking.

However, ranking of Comoros is 182nd and Mauritius 187th, according to FIFA Ranking. Saudi Arabia is yet to secure ranking from the FIFA.
According to PFF, the women football team of Pakistan will play their first match with Comoros on Jan 11, 2023 in Saudi Arabia.
The national women team of Pakistan will face Mauritius and host Saudi Arabia on 15th and 19th of January, respectively.
Importantly, the women football team of Pakistan did not play a single International match during 2014 to August 2022. Nonetheless, this disappointing situation is ending from next month with the start of 4-nation tournament in Saudi Arabia.
Three months ago, Pakistani team recorded their historical win against Maldives with 7-0 goals margin.
Nadia Khan, the 20-year-old star footballer scored the hat-trick in the match. She represents Doncaster Rovers Belles in England.
