KARACHI: A video showing a woman in a heated argument with a traffic policeman over tinted car windows in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area has gone viral on social media.
The incident took place when traffic police stopped the woman’s vehicle, which had tinted windows, and asked her to remove the tint. The woman, who claimed she had been driving with tinted windows for over a year, refused to comply.
According to police, she began to argue with the officer, allegedly insulting and threatening him. Despite the confrontation, the officer remained calm throughout the exchange.
“I have been driving this car with tinted windows for over a year. Why are you making me remove them? I’ve bought off the police,” the woman reportedly said.
DIG South Irfan Ali stated that the woman appeared to be intoxicated and was smoking a cigarette during the incident. The authorities are now investigating her behavior and the alleged threats made to the officer.
