Several high-profile figures shared their experiences on social media as panic spread. Luisa Zissman revealed that she and her family set up an emergency space in their basement after hearing explosions. The former Apprentice star, who relocated to Dubai with her husband Andrew Collins and two daughters, posted videos capturing the sound of a fighter jet overhead.
She wrote that massive bangs shook their home just as they planned to step outside, prompting them to retreat indoors. โSo surreal and scary,โ she said, adding that she trusted UAE defence systems to keep residents safe.
Meanwhile, Petra Ecclestone described the night as one of the most frightening of her life. She said her family fled one place seeking peace, only to face renewed fear. However, she confirmed that they remained safe and together.
