A Unique Wildlife Dining Experience Coming Soon to Punjab’s Capital
Lahore is all set to welcome Pakistan’s first-ever Giraffe Café, an exciting new attraction to be established at the Lahore Safari Park. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz on social media, sparking enthusiasm among wildlife lovers and tourists alike.
The announcement follows the recent arrival of two giraffes from South Africa, which will become the main highlight of the café. Visitors will not only be able to see the giraffes up close but also interact with them in a natural, open-air environment designed to mimic their natural habitat.
According to initial plans, the café will feature elevated platforms that allow guests to enjoy safe and close encounters with the gentle giants while dining. The concept takes inspiration from wildlife cafés in Kenya and Thailand, where visitors can feed and photograph animals in eco-friendly settings.
The Giraffe Café is expected to become a major tourist attraction and a popular spot for families, nature enthusiasts, and social media influencers. Its innovative design aims to combine leisure dining with wildlife interaction, offering a first-of-its-kind experience in Pakistan.
While the official opening date has yet to be announced, construction and final preparations are already underway. Authorities hope the project will boost eco-tourism in Punjab and create a unique recreational experience for both locals and visitors.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s initiative is part of the government’s broader effort to promote family-friendly attractions and modernize Lahore’s parks and tourism sector, turning the city into a leading destination for innovative leisure experiences.
