Lahore โ Veteran Pakistani actor Asim Bukhari passed away in Lahore on Wednesday at the age of 76, leaving the countryโs television, film, and theatre community in mourning. The senior artist had battled kidney and heart complications and had remained hospitalized for the past fifteen days.
Doctors had treated Bukhari for multiple health issues for some time. However, his condition deteriorated in recent days despite medical care, and he died earlier this week. News of his passing quickly spread across the entertainment industry, prompting tributes from colleagues, students, and admirers who remembered his decades-long contribution to Pakistani showbiz.
Career spanning television, film and theatre
Throughout his long and distinguished career, Asim Bukhari performed in numerous television dramas, stage productions, and films.
