Persian Gulf: The flight tracking website and portal Flight Radar 24 has reported MQ-4 Drones from the United States Air Force loitering around the South Iran city of Bushehr in Khuzestan province. The footage available at the portal reveals the jet taking off from unmarked Saudi Air port; or the drone transponder was opened after it was airborne; either way suggesting the use of the Saudi Arabian airspace.
Going by the onground developments in th region, where there is talk of a final ground based push by the 82nd AirBorne Division of the US army and even talk of the POTUS regarding greater deployment, including the Airborne division as well as Marine corps, such flights also recorded on the portal during the months of December, January and February, then strongly suggested that the US forces was teaming up and gathering intelligence for the attacks which commenced from February 28, 2026.
This time the type of intelligence gathering can be cited as an attempt to get as much ground intel on the coastal areas of iran, as much as they can. The Lockheed made MQ-4 drones have been a regular feature of US deployments during peace times, usually a prelude to any operation. The current deployment, coupled with declared plans for the US “boots on the ground” means that irrespective of the superficial bid for peace, the US and IDF have made up their mind for a ground invasion, annexation of a piece of land and eventual capitulation towards a regime change.
