Indiana Collector Owns 2,318 Joker-Themed Items
Megan Pierce, a 22-year-old from Indiana, USA, has officially set a Guinness World Record for owning the largest collection of Joker-themed items. Her record-breaking collection includes a staggering 2,318 individual pieces — all dedicated to the iconic DC Comics villain, the Joker.
Pierce’s collection features a wide variety of memorabilia, including action figures, comic books, Joker-themed skateboards, rare milk jugs from 1966, and even rollerblades. Her passion for the Joker began back in middle school, but it grew significantly during the Covid-19 lockdowns. At the time, she started sharing her collection on social media, which inspired her to pursue the world record.
Record Application Took a Year of Preparation
In 2023, Pierce began the lengthy and detailed process of applying for the Guinness World Record. According to the rules, she had to submit descriptions, photos, and exact measurements for each item in her collection. The verification was conducted under the supervision of five independent witnesses to ensure authenticity.
Though she admitted the process was time-consuming, Pierce called it a “memorable experience.” Her dedication not only earned her a Guinness title but also boosted her visibility in the Joker fan community.
Recognition from Fans and Celebrities Alike
As her collection gained attention, Pierce had the opportunity to meet other Joker fans — including Mark Hamill, the legendary voice actor behind the animated Joker.
Pierce says she’s still eager to grow her collection, even if someone eventually surpasses her record. “I’d be thrilled if someone breaks it — that just means I get to keep collecting,” she said with a laugh.
