Embassies Urge Caution in Spain, Italy Amid Unrest
The United Arab Emirates has issued safety alerts for its citizens travelling or living abroad, urging them to remain cautious in light of ongoing protests and extreme weather conditions in several countries.
In separate advisories, the UAE embassies in Madrid and Rome advised Emiratis in Spain and Italy to stay away from demonstration areas and follow local authority instructions. Citizens were urged to monitor news updates and avoid areas of unrest to reduce any risk to their safety.
The embassies also encouraged all UAE nationals to register with the Twajudi service, which enables quick support and communication during emergencies. Those in need of assistance were reminded to use the UAE’s 24-hour hotline services.
