DUKI, BALOCHISTAN — Two militants linked to the group Fitna-ul-Hindustan were killed in a successful intelligence-based operation carried out by security forces in Balochistan’s Duki district, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday.
The operation was launched following credible intelligence reports about the presence of militants operating in the region. Acting on this information, security forces swiftly moved in, engaging the suspects in a fierce exchange.
During the raid, two militants were killed, while two others were captured alive. A substantial cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the site.
According to ISPR, the captured individuals were involved in multiple acts of sabotage and terrorism, and had direct links to Indian-sponsored militant networks. The statement emphasized that the operation exposed the hand of foreign interference aimed at destabilizing the region.
The ISPR further confirmed that search operations are still underway to locate and neutralize any remaining threats in the area. It reaffirmed the armed forces’ unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism and crush Indian-backed militancy from Pakistani soil.
