ISLAMABAD: Twitter has temporarily suspended account of a Dutch leader Geert Wilders for posting anti-Islamic comments on the microblogging website, addressing Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif.
The website temporarily restricted the Dutch leader’s account on Monday after he violated the platform’s rules and published an anti-Islamic tweet which was addressed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Wilders is the chairman and far-right leader of the Dutch political party called Party for Freedom.
However, this is not the first time Twitter has suspended the leader’s account. His account was suspended back in 2019 for the same reasons for spreading hate online.
On the other hand, Turkish authorities have also investigated “anti-presidential” tweets against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
