Trump Adviser Warns Israel Could Consider Nuclear Strike on Iran

In that case, he said, nuclear escalation becomes a real danger. Such an outcome would bring disaster to the entire region and far beyond.
Sacks urged leaders to act quickly. He argued that now is the perfect moment to declare victory and pull back. The United States has already achieved major gains, he noted. Continuing the war risks unnecessary escalation.
However, he called for clear steps to calm the situation. Options could include a ceasefire or direct talks with Iran. De-escalation, he stressed, should start soon.
Additionally, his comments seem to match the quieter stance of Vice President Vance. Vance has avoided public statements on the war. Trump has said privately that Vance feels less eager about the conflict than others in the administration.
Moreover, Sacks has supported Vance for years. In 2022 he gave about $1 million to a super PAC that helped Vance win his Ohio Senate seat. As a trusted White House voice, his public warning shows even some of Trump’s closest allies want a faster end to the fighting.
The remarks come as more people call for restraint. Fears of a wider war continue to grow.
