US President Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai has officially stepped into the world of fashion with the launch of her own clothing brand. The 18-year-old, eldest child of Donald Trump Jr., unveiled her brand on social media Thursday, drawing attention both for her entrepreneurial move and for the unusual setting of her promotional photos: the White House grounds.
The teen posed in $130 sweatshirts that carry her initials on the chest and her signature embroidered on the cuff. The brand’s website showcases these images, blending the iconic backdrop of the executive residence with the simplicity of her fashion line.
Kai herself was seen wearing one of the pullovers on Friday while standing beside her grandfather as he addressed reporters outside the White House. Introducing her to the press corps, Trump remarked, “This is Kai, by the way,” before the two departed together to attend the Ryder Cup, underscoring their shared passion for golf.
Kai is expected to join the University of Miami’s golf team next year, and her budding fashion venture comes on the heels of her speaking role at last year’s Republican National Convention.
Her dual interests in sport and fashion highlight a growing public profile within the Trump family, whose members have long navigated both politics and business.
Her personal life has also drawn public attention. Kai’s parents are divorced, and her mother is reportedly in a relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods, further linking the teenager’s world to the golfing elite.
The launch has, however, reignited scrutiny over the Trump family’s approach to blending politics with personal enterprise. Donald Trump himself has faced repeated accusations of using his presidency to promote family interests, whether in real estate, branded merchandise, or ventures linked to cryptocurrencies.
Kai’s clothing line is now the latest chapter in this ongoing debate over the blurred lines between politics, business, and personal branding.
