U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet Field Marshal Asim Munir for a private lunch at the White House on Wednesday (today), according to official sources.
The high-level meeting will take place in the Cabinet Room at 1:00 p.m. local time in Washington, D.C. — approximately 10:00 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time. Due to the confidential nature of the discussions, members of the media will not be allowed to attend.
A day earlier, Field Marshal Munir met with members of the Pakistani diaspora in Washington, where he was warmly welcomed by a large crowd of overseas Pakistanis gathered in his honor.
