Former president of United States, Donald Trumpโs wax statue in Louis Tussaudโs Waxworks in San Antonio, Texas, had been vandalised by his haters due to which the administration removed it.
A replica of the former president currently being housed at Louis Tussaudโs Waxworks in San Antonio, Texas, had to be removed from viewing for its own safety, according to San Antonio Express.
The museumโs branch which is operated by the Ripley Entertainment Corp โ owned by the great-grandson of Marie Tussaud โ hosted the statue for four years. Since the place is a popular tourist destination, Trumpโs statue recently became a punching bag for visitors who vandalized it, repeatedly. Following this, the management was forced to take it off the floor.
Clay Stewart, the regional manager of the museum said,
โWhen itโs a highly political figure, attacks can be a problem.โ
At first relocated to the front lobby so it looked after with more vigilance. But when that didnโt deter visitors from โpunchingโ and โscratchingโ it, the organizers had to remove it altogether. Now Trumpโs wax replica is safe in storage with George Washingtonโs wax recreation.

It is the second time that Trumpโs replica has faced the publicโs frustration. In October 2020, Madame Tussauds museum in Berlin tossed Trump in the trash, quite literally, as part of an exhibit change meant to denounce his administrationโs policies.
Madame Tussauds in London followed suit, dressing up Trump in golf attire after his loss in the presidential election to โreflect his potential 2021 wardrobe.โ
