Justice Aamir Rana of the Balochistan Election Tribunal has ordered a fresh vote recount at 22 polling stations in the NA-251 constituency, which covers the districts of Zhob and Killa Saifullah.
The decision comes in response to a petition filed by the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP), which alleged irregularities during the February 2024 general elections.
The recount will take place at the Election Commission’s office and will be conducted under official supervision. Contesting candidates and their legal teams will be present to ensure full transparency and adherence to due process.
PkNAP Chairman Khushhal Khan Kakar has appointed renowned legal expert Salman Akram Raja to represent the party during the proceedings.
