To assist flood victims who are dealing with disease epidemics, the Sindh government has decided to temporarily employ the services of doctors and paramedics.
Thousands of flood victims are still trapped in their flooded areas, while others who have took shelter in relief camps are now dealing with illness outbreaks because standing water that really is three to four feet deep has turned into a breeding ground for several diseases.
Additionally, 70,000 births are expected this month out of the almost 0.7 million pregnant women.

The Sindh government will hire 2,500 workers during a three-month period, including 1,000 doctors and many midwives.
Staff nurses would be paid Rs60,000 per month, and doctors will receive Rs100,000. Every month, a midwife will receive Rs40,000.
The province of Sindh’s flood-affected areas will receive the doctors and paramedics.
