Three people were killed in two separate shooting incidents on Sunday in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, according to police.
Panjgur Deputy Commissioner Zahid Lango confirmed that two individuals were shot dead in the Gomazin area, while a third person was killed in a separate incident in Zandian Daz. The bodies were transported to Teaching Hospital Panjgur and later handed over to their families.
An investigation is currently underway, and authorities have launched efforts to apprehend those responsible.
The incidents come amid heightened security tensions in Balochistan. On Friday, unidentified gunmen killed two people, including a woman, in Kalat’s Killi Mulki area. Earlier, on Wednesday, a blast targeting the convoy of PPP MPA Ali Madad Jattak in Quetta left one person dead and 10 others injured.
Last week alone, at least six people were killed and seven injured in separate violent incidents across Quetta, Kharan, Surab, and Uthal.
