Fresh Accusations Surface on Social Media
Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim faces serious allegations from his ex-wife, Sannia Ashfaq, following his public announcement of remarriage. On Monday, Sannia took to Instagram and accused Wasim of betrayal, claiming he failed to consider the well-being of their children.
She wrote that “everyone has seen the proof” and described him as a “homewrecker” who “never once thought about my kids.” Furthermore, she alleged that he cheated during their marriage and demanded justice for her children. In another post, Sannia claimed that in December 2023, Wasim forced her to terminate a pregnancy in Lahore. She called him a “murderer” and asserted that she possesses video evidence to support her claim.
Additionally, she tagged his Pakistan Super League franchise and criticized the organization for giving “a chance to a murderer and a cheater.” She concluded by stating that no cheater or murderer should escape accountability.
Wasim Defends Decision, Reaffirms Commitment to Children
Meanwhile, Wasim addressed the controversy by reflecting on what he described as one of the hardest chapters of his life. He recently announced his marriage to Nyla Raja, saying he made the decision thoughtfully and with clear intentions.
He stated that Nyla brought calm, dignity, and strength into his life. Moreover, he expressed disappointment that his earlier silence led to unfair criticism of his new wife. Despite the turmoil, Wasim emphasized that his commitment to his children remains unwavering. He stressed that fatherhood requires presence, love, and guidance, not just financial support.
However, he added that he still struggles to see his children and hopes to remain actively involved in their lives.
