ISLAMABAD: Earthquake tremors shook several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday, causing panic among residents. The Seismological Center confirmed the earthquake measured 4.1 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter located in Swat.
The tremors were particularly felt in Malakand, Shangla, Swat, and surrounding areas, prompting many to rush out of their homes and buildings in fear.
Rescue 1122 reported that, as of now, there have been no reports of casualties or damage from any part of the province.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and have advised citizens to stay calm and follow safety protocols in case of any aftershocks.
