Stage performer and dancer Muneeba Shah was tragically shot dead late Saturday night in Peshawar, police confirmed. The attack occurred near Ring Road when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a rickshaw she was traveling in.
According to officials from Machni Gate Police Station, the assailants fired multiple rounds before fleeing the scene. Muneeba Shah died on the spot from gunshot wounds, while the rickshaw driver sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police cordoned off the area immediately and forensic teams collected evidence, including bullet casings, to support the ongoing investigation.
Authorities have launched search operations to locate and arrest the perpetrators. Investigators are also exploring possible motives behind the attack, though no arrests had been reported at the time of filing this story.
