With Ramazan just a week away, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has released the gas supply schedule for the holy month.
The company, responsible for the transmission and distribution of natural gas in Sindh and Balochistan, assured customers of continuous gas supply for Sehar and Iftaar preparations.
In a statement, SSGC extended its warm wishes for a blessed Ramazan and emphasized, “We ensure uninterrupted gas supply for Sehar and Iftaar, but please be aware that the country’s annual 10% depletion in gas reserves has increased the demand-supply gap.”
To maintain optimal gas pressure, SSGC will conduct pressure profiling from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and again during nighttime from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM throughout Ramazan.
The gas supply schedule will be as follows:
- Gas availability: 3:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Gas closure: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 10:00 PM – 3:00 AM
“These timings have been designed to ensure our valued customers can efficiently prepare for Sehar and Iftaar,” the company stated.
