The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has strongly refuted recent allegations concerning the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), calling the claims false and baseless.
A spokesperson for the SPSC accused certain media outlets of spreading misleading information as part of a deliberate effort to undermine the integrity of the examination results.
The spokesperson clarified that candidates who scored 600 out of 1000 in the CCE 2021 did not perform well in their interviews, and their records are available for review. These candidates, due to their low scores and limited preferences, were not selected for positions. They had only listed roles such as PMS or DSP; had they chosen positions like Assistant Director (Labour), Mukhtiarkar, or Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, they may have been allocated jobs.
In compliance with a directive from the High Court, the SPSC has retained audio and video recordings of the interviews, which serve as concrete evidence of candidate performance. The Supreme Court has ruled that decisions made by the interview committee are final and cannot be contested.
The SPSC expressed concern over the defamation of constitutional institutions through baseless allegations and affirmed its right to take legal action against those responsible for spreading false claims.
