The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has turned down a request from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to host the remaining matches of the IPL 2025 in Dubai, citing a prior booking by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to sources, India had approached the ECB to shift the remainder of the tournament to the UAE amid ongoing regional tensions. However, the Dubai venues had already been reserved by the PCB for the concluding fixtures of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10.
The ECB reportedly informed the BCCI that the existing commitment to the PCB made it logistically unfeasible to accommodate IPL matches during the same period.
