LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that tickets for the highly anticipated three-match Test series between Pakistan and England will go on sale online today, Monday. This series is part of the ICC World Test Championship for the 2023-25 season and is expected to draw significant interest from cricket fans.

To make the matches accessible to a broader audience, the PCB has introduced a range of ticket prices, with some available for as low as Rs50, Rs100, and Rs200.

However, the maximum ticket price can reach up to Rs2,500, depending on various factors including the specific day, Test match, venue, and enclosure. In a bid to encourage large crowds, the PCB will also offer free tickets for general enclosures on the opening day of both Test matches at Multan Cricket Stadium.

The ticket sales will commence online at 5 PM, giving fans the opportunity to secure their spots for the matches. The first two Tests will be held at the Multan Cricket Stadium from October 7 to 19, while the third Test is scheduled to take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 24 to 28.

In addition to online ticket sales, box offices will be operational outside the match venues starting the day before each Test match, providing fans with more options to purchase their tickets in person.

For the first Test match, which spans from Tuesday to Thursday, tickets for general enclosures will be priced at Rs50. On the final day, tickets for the Hanif Muhammad and Mushtaq Ahmed enclosures will cost Rs100.

For first-class enclosures such as the Wasim Akram and Elahi Brothers enclosures, tickets will be available at Rs100 for the first four days, with a price increase to Rs200 on the fifth day.

The premium enclosures (Javed Miandad and Zaheer Abbas) will have tickets available at Rs200 for the first four days and Rs300 on the fifth day. VIP enclosures will have tickets priced at Rs300, and those for the PCB Gallery will be available for Rs2,000, which includes lunch for patrons.

The second Test match, taking place from October 15 to 19, will follow a similar pricing structure, with general enclosure tickets priced at Rs50 for the second and third days and Rs100 for the fourth and fifth days.

Tickets for first-class and premium enclosures will also see a slight increase, going up to Rs200 and Rs300, respectively, for the latter days of the match.

The third Test at Rawalpindi will see free entry to premium enclosures on the opening day. For the subsequent days, ticket prices will range from Rs200 to Rs300 for premium enclosures, while VIP enclosure tickets will be priced at Rs400 for the first two days and Rs500 for the last days.

The PCB Gallery will offer tickets at Rs2,000 for the first two days and Rs2,500 for the remaining days, also including lunch.
