In the T20 World Cup final match against England, Pakistan’s bowlers’ excellent bowling attack kept the English cricketers on edge.
The team’s bowling lineup performed on par with Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Mohammad Wasim despite scoring 137 with the loss of eight wickets and giving England a difficult chase.
Alex Hales was knocked out by Shaheen in his first over, and Rauf took two important wickets for England after Jos Buttler and Phil Salt were removed as captains.
After a few overs, Mohammad Wasim secured Moeen Ali’s wicket while Shadab dismissed Harry Brook and sent him back to the pavilion.
Despite not taking home the T20 World Cup trophy, the Green Shirts are receiving a lot of praise for their outstanding performance in the competition and for reaching the finals.
The bowling attack has earned a lot of praise and respect for making life difficult for the England batters.
Here are some of the Twitter comments that the team has already received, including one from Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of the nation, who called the bowler’s performance “great.”
Team Pakistan 🇵🇰 fought back hard & brave. Great bowling performance. But England 🏴 played better today. We are proud of our boys in green for making it to the final match of this mega tournament. 👏

The batting side dug a hole that even the worlds best bowling couldn’t fill. Outstanding effort by the team to get to the final against all odds and a great game of cricket. England came well prepared. Chin up boys, we are the runners up of the #T20WorldCup https://t.co/xbRAonpIKS
