Pakistan’s cricket sensation, Shaheen Shah Afridi, has seen a significant rise in the latest ICC T20 player rankings.
Shaheen has ascended three spots, now sitting at 12th place among the world’s top T20 bowlers, boasting an impressive rating of 631.
Topping the list is England’s Adil Rashid, with Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga and India’s Axar Patel securing second and third places, respectively.
While Shaheen shines, Pakistan’s bowling lineup lacks representation in the top 20, with Haris Rauf holding the 25th position, sporting a rating of 574.
The rankings also highlight Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, who has climbed two spots to secure the seventh position.
In the batting department, Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan and skipper Babar Azam stand out, occupying the third and fourth spots, respectively, with impressive ratings of 769 and 761.
Contrastingly, India’s Suryakumar Yadav leads the T20 batting rankings, trailed closely by England’s Phil Salt.
England’s captain, Jos Buttler, has also made strides, moving up one spot to claim seventh place in the T20 batting list.
Turning to the all-rounder category, Sri Lanka’s Hasaranga continues to dominate with a rating of 228, while Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan slips to second place.
Pakistan’s Imad Wasim has surged up the ranks, climbing four places to jointly hold the 12th position among the best T20 all-rounders, alongside teammate Shadab Khan, who has slipped one spot.
