Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has already received his gold Play Button just a day after launching his YouTube channel, “UR Cristiano,” marking a new chapter in his illustrious career.
Within hours of the launch, the 39-year-old footballer added two more world records to his extensive list. He became the fastest person to reach one million subscribers on the world’s largest video-sharing platform.
His second record followed quickly as his subscriber count surged to 10 million within 24 hours.
Just a couple of hours after posting his first video, Ronaldo’s channel had already attracted 1.69 million subscribers.
The channel has now surpassed 15.4 million subscribers, with at least 18 videos posted by the football legend.
After achieving these world records, the Al Nassr striker took to social media to thank his fans for their support as he ventured into the world of content creation.
On his social media accounts, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner shared a reel unveiling his gold YouTube Play Button to his family.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star captioned the video, which shows his children excitedly reacting to the Play Button, with the words: “A present for my family. Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!”
